You decide!
"Consider the work of God:
who can make straight what He has made crooked?"
Ecclesiastes 7:13
who can make straight what He has made crooked?"
Ecclesiastes 7:13
"Consider the work of God" in other words study or observe God's work, pay attention to what He's doing and realize that He has the ultimate power to decide of what's to happen.
When I think of this concept of "God knows everything and makes everything according to His will" I start questioning my existence with questions such us "If God already knows what's going to happen, knows if I'm going to go to Heaven or to Hell, and already knows every detail of my life that has happened in the past and going to happen in my future, then why am I living out this pre-set life that already has an ending to it?"
Seems logical...
But these thoughts are very far away from the truth.
Jesus came to this earth, served, died and rose again to establish a direct contact between people who are struggling in sin and the Holy LORD.
Jesus has become the door for sinner to get to God, to get to know Him and get a greater understanding of one's life and existence and live to the fullest potential so our joy could be complete.
God did everything just for us, sinners. This whole world exists just for us, God created the sun and placed it in such perfect distance from earth that it is not too far that the earth would freeze and not to close that earth would burn, the moon is orbiting the earth so that the waters on earth are regulated just perfectly, the mixture of gasses in the air is just right to provide life for humans, animals and plants...etc....and many more amazing things that God has created just for us...for ungrateful, evil, greedy, and unjust humans. When people wondered so far off fro m God in to their own understanding, Jesus came to the earth willing to do everything for these people who didn't understand that He is here to give us a chance to get free of all these terrible and heavy burdens and live a full life.
He gave us a choice and it is up to us to choose life or death; to live the life with Christ ( people might not understand you but God will be there for you always) or to turn to our own ways and parish in our foolishness.
People make fun of this concept of God's plan and free will, that they cannot co-exist...
God's plan is for every person who believes in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior to not perish but have an everlasting life, but He did give us the freedom to choose, do we want to have an everlasting life by living according to His detailed instructions, or we rather choose to forsake all the warnings and parish?
Of course we all have different life pathways and God's plan is there, are we going to choose to be a part of it? Are we going to choose to be led by God's Word?
