Deuteronomy 30

Choose

This is one of the famous chapters in the Bible.

God says to his people that even if they end up all around the world scattered, and people will be enslaveing them and but when they turn to God, and pray to Him with ALL their heart and will. God will hear them and rescue them and turn all the curses that were on them against their enemies.

God also says that people have no excuse to not obey this law "This word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it." (verse 14)

Today...
No on has an excuse to not be believers, and say that they had no idea about Jesus when he comes here again.
The word is near us! It's right here-- in our hands, and it SHOULD be in our hearts as well.

    Later on in this chapter God gives his people a choice-- a choice of DEATH and curses or a choice of LIFE and blessings, and he urges his people to choice LIFE, to choose blessings.

One might say, but He's God, He can bless His people even if they're stubborn if HE wants them to be blessed so bad...
Well, my friend, God IS Love, but God is also a righteous judge, he can't just hide things under the carpet, or overlook sin. God is fair.

Today...

God gives us a choice too, to choice LIFE and heavenly treasures, or DEATH and everlasting burning.
 Once you look at the end result there is no question what all people want, they want to choose LIFE and everlasting life. The Bible contains all the instructions needed to get to that end result.

Sometimes it will get hard, sometimes it'll get confusing, but until the time runs out, God will always be ready to listen and help.

I wonder how many people actually understand the meaning of Easter? Not just people, but people that say they’re followers of Christ.  If you’re celebrating something I would think you need to know the history behind it, right? I might be to naive to believe people care about history these days, but as a firm believer in Jesus Christ history is very important to me.  Yes, history!
