How much are we loved?

Someone who we didn't even know yet, Someone who we persecuted with our actions, gave His life for us!
I can never fathom God's love. Jesus came to this earth, knowing that people will hate Him, and kill Him; but he went on this mission anyway, and walked in love, patients, and wisdom along the people who would leave Him to die.
This great sacrifice gave me a chance to be washed clean from all my sins, and to be in the Kingdom of Heaven, and gave me a purpose to this life I'm living now--to be the light and salt to everyone around.

Time will run out Abimelech became a king by killing his own brothers with the help of Shechemites, citizens of the Shechem. Only the youngest, Jotham was able to run away. But before he ran away for good he told the people that Abimelech is not the right king and he reminded the people of his father, "For my father [Gideon] fought for you and risked his life and delivered you from the hand of Midian, and you have risen up against my father's house this day and have killed his sons." (verse 17,18) Not too long after the citizens of Shechem started turning against Abimelech saying "Who is Abimelech, and who are we of Shechem, that we should serve him?... is not Zebul his officer?" Being a good example is not as hard as it seems.

I know that I'm supposed to be the light to the world, and be an example and all... but I feel like people should be able to tell that I am somehow different from the rest of the world form the first conversation or maybe even look. I was walking to class one morning, and as I stood before the road crossing, waiting for the traffic light to show me the "walking" signal it suddenly started pouring. I do not own an umbrella, and did not have one with me. As I am standing under the rain, I see people taking their umbrella's out and casually just standing there protected from the rain, I really hoped that someone would be willing to share an umbrella with me. The traffic light took it's time, and I stood under the rain, drenched, I tucked my chin and half of my face into the neck of my coat, and just waited for the light to turn green. Suddenly an older gentlemen with an umbrella walked up to me and shared his umbrella with me, very casually.He did it so naturally...
