God the Comforter

“I, I am he who comforts you;
    who are you that you are afraid of man who dies,
    of the son of man who is made like grass,
 and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker,
    who stretched out the heavens
    and laid the foundations of the earth"
                                                      Isaiah 51:12-13

Let this sink in....

Isn't it so true!?

With everyday "stuff" it is so easy to see our struggles to grow over us. Our worries appear to become much bigger than our LORD.

We see ourselves being beaten down by our everyday routine, and we cry out to the LORD--"I don't think I can do this anymore, I can't handle everything that You gave me to carry. Help me!"

But in reality God is always there, near us and we made our worries so much bigger than what they really are that it scares us to even think about them. We painted our struggles to be giants over us, taking control of our lives, emotions, feelings, etc... while God is just there, looking at all of this from afar.

That is not true!

This world is quick to intimidate us, and make us look like we're crazy if we do not constantly worry about  the everyday things, if we do not "see" the big struggle giant and obey it.

God's Word was sent to us for the purpose to calm us down, to encourage  us and teach us how to live the right way and bring Glory to His name.

God constantly encourages us through His word, and gives us inner peace that we can do it, we can live this life and go through struggles and come out stronger and happier than we've even been before!

Why do we bring Glory to the God that we cannot see? Because He created us, and later sent his only Son to be crucified for all people, so they and we all can have an everlasting life, if we Only believe in Him and abide by His Word.
