Easter

It's so easy to get sucked into the life of busy work. Even if you don't want to be a part of it, you involuntarily end up being a part of it. I just recently realized that Easter is right around the corner, which means that the day when Jesus Christ gave up His life for me might actually be today! 

It is always so surreal to think that Someone so perfect could give up everything, even His life for me. I know I am not worthy of that sacrifice and I'm so so thankful for His endless love and grace for me.

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures" Corinthians 15:3-4


Just like Paul is sharing this good news and encouragements with the Corinth, so do we need to share God's good news and encouragement with the people around us! 

Lets ask God for His help in getting out of this swamp of constant worries  and busy work and ask Him to help us fully comprehend that real treasures and riches are in heaven. They're promised to us by God if we obey the Word of God. So why do we always get caught up in these temporary treasures?

What’s the deal with Easter, is it even real?

I wonder how many people actually understand the meaning of Easter? Not just people, but people that say they’re followers of Christ.  If you’re celebrating something I would think you need to know the history behind it, right? I might be to naive to believe people care about history these days, but as a firm believer in Jesus Christ history is very important to me.  Yes, history! Jesus Christ was actually alive and did die, and rose from the dead. Some might say that its only recorded in the Bible and how can a person rely on one source?  Well to begin the Bible is 66 different books, so technically it’s not one source.
